The Game Awards Nominations 2023
The Game Awards Nominations : Nominations for the 2023 Game Awards, which honor the year’s most innovative, unique and story-driven stories in the gaming industry, were announced on Monday. Leading the pack are the high fantasy role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 and the recently released meta-horror Alan Wake 2, which each received eight nominations, including Game of the Year, Best Game Direction and Best Narrative.
Nintendo is the most nominated publisher this year with 15, thanks to the success of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the popularity of its most recent release, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, followed by Sony Interactive Entertainment/PlayStation with 13 nominations, and Xbox (with Bethesda and Blizzard combined) 10. Epic Games is the most nominated third-party publisher with a total of nine.
Fans can participate in voting through The Game Awards website and Discord servers from now until December 6. On December 7, the winner will be announced at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, which was once known as the Microsoft Theater. The event will be live streamed on The Game Awards website, as well as more than 30 social media sites and video networks.
